On-chart fill indicators reference
Signal Mode (default)
When Signal Mode is enabled (Settings toggle), interaction markers and gap echoes are
filtered by confidence. Only interactions where the gap was high-quality, the ML model
was confident, and the outcome was decisive (REJ or BRK) appear on the chart. HOV (unclear) markers
are suppressed. Low-strength interactions (price barely moved) are hidden.
When Signal Mode is off, all markers are shown (legacy behavior) for debugging/analysis.
Gap Echo (Footprint label)
A faint dotted line + italic label that appears on a gap zone after it has been filled.
In Signal Mode, high-confidence echoes stay visible for 24 hours, medium-confidence for 8 hours,
and low-quality interactions are suppressed entirely. Opacity fades smoothly over the echo lifetime.
Filled - Pushed up
Bullish gap filled, price continued up
Support held — the bullish FVG acted as expected. Price bounced off it upward.
Filled - Broke down
Bullish gap filled, price broke further down
Support failed — price punched through the bullish FVG and kept going down.
Filled - Pushed through
Bearish gap filled, price broke further up
Resistance failed — price punched through the bearish FVG and kept going up.
Filled - Rejected down
Bearish gap filled, price rejected back down
Resistance held — the bearish FVG acted as expected. Price rejected at the zone.
The label is prefixed with the age: e.g. 15m ago - Filled - Rejected down. This updates every 60 seconds.
Interaction Outcome Markers (Diamond markers on candle)
A coloured diamond marker placed directly on the fill candle in the chart.
In Signal Mode, only markers with sufficient confidence (ML probability + gap quality + confluence)
and interaction strength (how far price moved after the fill) are shown.
Nearby markers with the same outcome are clustered into zones (e.g. 3x Rejected).
BRK
Breakout — continuation
Price broke through the FVG and kept going. DB label: FILL.
Teal/green diamond on the chart.
REJ
Rejection — reversal
Price was rejected at the FVG zone and reversed. DB label: REACTION.
Red/coral diamond on the chart.
Directional Bias Strip
In Signal Mode, a small bar appears in the top-right of the chart showing the aggregate directional signal
from recent high-confidence interactions. It answers: "Based on how price interacted with gaps recently,
is structure bullish or bearish?"
Bullish
Support levels are holding and/or resistance is being broken. Price structure is intact upward.
Bearish
Support levels are breaking and/or resistance is holding. Price structure favours downside.
Neutral
Mixed signals — roughly equal bullish and bearish outcomes. No clear structural bias.
The strip only appears when there are at least 2 high-confidence interactions in the last 24 hours. No signal is better than a false signal.
Confidence Tiers
Each interaction is scored 0-100 based on: ML probability, confluence score, gap quality, and heuristic scores.
High (70+)
Full opacity marker, 24h echo. The ML model and heuristics strongly agree on the outcome.
Medium (45-69)
Reduced opacity marker, 8h echo. Reasonable confidence but not as strong a signal.
Below 45
Suppressed in Signal Mode. Low quality gap or weak interaction — not worth showing.
